Youth Programs Manager, Darwin

YWCA Australia is the national association of YWCAs in Australia and is part of the world YWCA movement. We are a women-led organisation that achieves positive change by providing advocacy, programs and services for women, families and communities.

YWCAs undertake advocacy and deliver programs and services that develop the leadership and collective power of women and girls; support individuals, their families and communities at critical times; and promote gender equality and community strengthening.

The Youth Programs Manager is accountable to the Regional Manager, for the effective and efficient management of the following community programs:

  • Youth Diversion Program
  • Housing Support Program (including Women’s Housing and Parenting Support)
  • CASY House

Management of these programs include, but are not limited to:

  • Direct supervision of a Program Supervisor, Program Coordinator and Team Leader
  • Youth program contract management including budget compliance and reporting
  • Ensuring effective delivery of services using a trauma informed, strength-based approach
  • Stakeholder engagement

The YWCA pays above award salaries and offers salary sacrifice options. This is a full time position under the Social, Community, Health Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010. The classification for this role under the SCHCADS Award is Level 8, with a salary of $93,548.56.
